FAQ
For our guests who don't typically travel I-95 South between Dulles & Fredericksburg:
The corridor from Occquoquan to Fredericksburg gets backed up and we recommend planning for extra time, especially if you'll be arriving the day of. The drive from Dulles -> Fredericksburg can take as much as an hour and a half depending on traffic.
The exit for Fredericksburg from I95 South is 133B and this spot of highway looks like there are multiple exit points - there aren't, and if you miss exit 133B, you'll add an extra 20 minutes to your travel time. Look for the blue rest stop signs and exit as though going to the rest stop, and you will be on the correct exit ramp.
Take the Trolley!
Transportation will be provided from the Hyatt Place Fredericksburg-Mary Washington. Parking is plentiful and free at Hyatt Place.
The trolley will depart Hyatt Place running in 15 minute intervals to the venue, starting at 4:15PM
Some parking is available on-site at the venue, free of charge. The Silk Mill offers guest parking lots in the front and rear of the building
But please don't drink and drive! Uber and Lyft are available in town so you can catch a ride to and from the venue safely.

The trolley will be available to transport guests to the venue starting at 4:15PM.
It will also run at the end of the night, starting at 10:30PM.
Festive
Think 'cocktail' but make it colorful. Guests are encouraged to wear outfits with✨color✨, prints, and/or patterns that allow them to shine, but it is not required.
This is an Invitation-Only Event
We are so excited to celebrate with you and wish we could have an open-door policy for this event, however only guests listed on the invitation may attend. Invitations are non-transferable.
Yes, this does include children, and we appreciate your understanding.

The venue is handicap accessible; all areas of the venue are on one level and there are handicap accessible stalls in the restrooms.
The path to the ceremony space are step stones over grass.
There are stairs to enter the reception space; additionally there is another set of doors that lead directly into the reception space without stairs.
Yes!
The bride will be changing her last name to the groom's, so they will be the Les (like Lees).
Indoors! (mostly)
Our ceremony and reception will be at the same venue. After the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour in the courtyard in front of the Copper Shop followed by the reception in the main building.
